Warranty & Care+
Every television is supplied with 6 months of Big Bargains warranty as standard. Every mobile phone, speaker, set of headphones, accessory and other item comes with 3 months. Both are included at no cost.
Our televisions are ex-catalogue stock, which means they carry no manufacturer guarantee — our own warranty covers them instead, and we handle any fault directly rather than sending you to the manufacturer.
What it covers
Mechanical and electrical failure in normal domestic use. We repair the item, or replace it with the same or an equivalent model where a repair is not possible. If neither is possible we refund you.
What it does not cover
- Accidental damage and liquid damage
- Cosmetic wear and consumable parts
- Damage from misuse, or from repairs by anyone else
- Loss or theft
- Software and account problems that are not a hardware fault
- Commercial or rental use
Care+
Care+ adds a further 6 months of cover on the same terms, bought at the same time as the item. It is priced by department: £39.99 on televisions, £29.99 on mobile phones, £19.99 on speakers and headphones, £14.99 on other electronics.
It runs from the date of delivery or collection, not from the date the included warranty ends. It transfers with the item if you pass it on. You can cancel within 14 days for a full refund, and after that we refund the unused portion less any claim already made.
Care+ is not an insurance policy. It is a service contract between you and us, and it does not cover accidental damage.
Your statutory rights
Nothing above replaces your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which last up to six years in England and Wales. Our warranty is in addition to them.
